OLIVE OIL-BASED, TRADITIONAL RECIPE DISHES FROM CRETE

For more than 25 years Kyriakakis Family have been preparing with care, traditional, olive oil-based recipes from the Cretan cuisine. We have named our line of dishes “Meraklidika”, a Greek term that signifies something which is made with extra care and detail. They are a… family affair, a labour of love that combines our dietary traditions with contemporary food technology standards. The result is a certified, tradition-inspired line of dishes you are more than certain to enjoy.



Installations

Nothing stays stagnant around our recently renovated installations in Aghios Ioannis Hostos in Heraklion, Crete. Technology serves tradition and so are the skills of our zealous staff that combine harmoniously an inherited alimentary tradition with state of the art equipment that is constantly improved. Everything here faithfully observes the rules of the Alimentary Codex and the food safety regulations, from the way we handle our raw ingredients to the constant quality controls during preparation and the storing and distribution of our products.

Our Staff

Our staff is –without a doubt- an integral part of our… extended family! Most of our team members have been with us for many (many!) years so they have developed special skills and firm principles of preserving the traditional identity of our delicacies. Their role and contribution are crucial, as the “Meraklidika” dishes are not just any fully automated, production line end products, they –to a great extend- incorporate manual labour, they are partially handmade.
