“Sfakia” Fried Pastries

One of the most celebrated Cretan delicacies, a trademark dish from the sea-side village of Sfakia, in Southwestern Crete. Thin, cotton-soft pastry filled with a layer of sour Mezeethra cheese, fried until gold and served with Cretan honey.

Remove cover, defrost for about 10 minutes and deep fry in a frying pan or deep fryer for 3-4 minutes until light gold.

Deep freeze in -18 ºC for a year from date of production.
